We are pleased to welcome Philip Taylor as this year’s keynote speaker

Philip Taylor, Ph.D. is the CEO and Co-Founder of Mad Agriculture and its two sister organizations, Mad Capital and Mad Markets. He co-founded the organization in 2016 with his life partner, Nicole Brinks, to reimagine and restore our relationship to the land, sea, and each other through good agriculture. Prior to founding MAD!, Phil was a career global ecologist who specialized in rainforest ecosystems. His research ranged widely, from understanding soil ecology and ecosystem biogeochemistry to exploring solutions to the sustainability challenges of agriculture. Most importantly, Phil grew up on an old farm in Maryland and has spent countless hours in fields, hay barns and milking parlors.

Have a question for our speakers?
As a first-time attendee to the OGRAIN Conference, making connections with other producers, other end users, other organic people has been the most beneficial to me.
So, every year I come to OGRAIN and I really like the networking and seeing people that I haven’t seen in a year and catching up on what went well, what didn’t go well this year. I always appreciate a good balance between farmers’ perspectives on the farmer panels and also the research perspective, usually from Erin or from other people from other states.
A big thank you to our 2026 conference sponsors & partners!
