    Planning Tips

    • Parking – There is ample street parking around Paxton. This map shows The Cadillac as a black box with a red circle around it. The map shows pink where nearby street parking is available. Please find street parking and refrain from parking in parking lots that belong to other businesses, even those marked in blue on the map.
    • Keep your mud to yourself – Please check your shoes and ensure they are clean to help avoid spreading anything undesirable to our gracious host’s farm.
    • Watch the weather – We’ll be spending the morning out in the field, so dress to be comfortable. We’ll return to The Cadillac and Silver Tree Spirits for lunch and the rest of the day.
    • It’s summer – Don’t forget a hat, sunscreen, water bottle, or anything else you need for field tours. We will have a water jug on site. So far, it’s looking like it’ll be a pretty mild and beautiful day!
    • Lunch and afternoon snacks are provided – We’ll have delicious tacos provided by Maize Mexican Grill, Goat & Pail gelato, and snacks by Jeff Henrichs. The food will feature local and organic ingredients wherever possible, including Living Light Farms, Sola Gratia Farm, JW Farm, and Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery.
