NRCS has a new management standard that is specifically meant to help farmers transitioning land to organic production. OFA just released a new fact sheet to with tips the new NRCS organic transition management practice standard 823, also known as the Organic Transition Initiative (OTI). Check it out here.

As part of the OTI, there is also a new mentorship program for transitioning organic farmers, run through the USDA Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) Learn more about the mentorship program here and TOPP here.
