SUMMARY:Webinar: Organic Crop Insurance 101
DESCRIPTION:Crop insurance can be a confusing program for organic farmers. Contract pricing\, covered crops\, uninsurable practices and events are all examples of ways that crop insurance is different for organic producers. This webinar will explain the benefits organic farmers have in crop insurance\, including options if coverage is not available for more specialized crops in your rotation. Register to attend so that you can make the right decisions for your farm by the annual March 15 enrollment deadline. \nEach webinar is tailored to the crops\, practices\, and insurance products that are available in that region. Attend the session for your location. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresenter: \nMegan Vaith\, owner of Northbourne Organic Crop Insurance\, LLC\, is an organic crop insurance agent and educator. She has made it her mission to make sure organic growers are aware of the organic risk management options available to them\, establishing a baseline for generational success. \nJoin Megan as she reviews the main highlights of what every advisor and farmer needs to know about crop insurance products for organic operations. \n
